Aqua Training Bag

After 7 years, Aqua Training Bag had created a great base within the boxing community that included some of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world and many of the top trainers and fitness gyms in the country trained with their bags. What’s wrong with that? Nothing if the people training there knew and interacted with the brand. That’s where there was opportunity for growth.

Aqua Training Bag wanted to build brand awareness and engagement across the sport of boxing and within the fitness industry. Two very different groups of people with a variety of goals and a range of reasons they would engage with any given brand. Our goal was to create an overall strategy that grew their social media and email channels, and increased revenue while engaging both groups of people.

As we dug into the brand and their community of athletes, trainers, and gyms, we started asking questions and training on our own to better understand the people training with their product.

Impact

Revenue (from Social): 714% avg. increase in revenue from social YoY.
92% increase in community on social media.
103% increase in traffic around fight night activations.

Team ATB

Our goal with every project is to build community and find ways to invest in those closest to the brand. With Aqua Training Bag, that meant focusing on the athletes that use their product to train for their fights and the trainers that work with the product on a daily basis in gyms around the world.

This included everything from product sponsorships for athletes to brand-building resources for trainers.
